Recruitment
Any player wishing to join Awesome Forces must do the following:
- Reach L80
- Fill out our guild application
- Speak with an officer and /join AFRecruits
- Run an instance with the guild. At least one officer must be present.
Applications must be filled out in their entirety. 10 days will be given in order to contact the officers. If the applicant does not contact them via in game or in-game mail in that time, the application will be denied. Any player wishing to try again will need to start the application process over.
Accepted Applications
Applicants in the trial period will receive a 0 tolerance policy for breaking guild rules. At the end of an applicant's two week period, the officers will decide if they are guild worthy and make a good addition to Awesome Forces.
Once a player has the Awesome Forces guild tag on them, should they decide to leave the guild, we ask that that player inform an officer of WHY they are leaving. Applicants or members who just up and leave the guild BEFORE informing an officer will not be welcome back, and any applications posted on the website for that character will be denied.
Raiding
- We use the in-game calendar to schedule raids. The raid leader needs to know at least one hour in advance who is available so that we can attempt to fill the raid with the proper class roles.
- Petty differences with other players should in no way come between you and raiding. If you have an issue with a player, bring it to the attention of an officer (or if it's with an officer, bring it to the Guild Master) and it can be resolved. For problems to be worked on and resolved, the leadership needs to know about them, so please share with us.
- Raid Invites will go out 30 minutes prior to the start of a raid. You are expected to be online and ready to receive your invite at this time. Do not be in a battleground, heroic, etc. if you wish to raid.
- When a raid starts at 8 PM, if you are not online by 8:01, you have lost your raid spot for the night. If you cannot make it online by that time due to work, family, please let the raid leader or an officer know. Letting us know that you walk in the door at 8 PM and need time to turn on the computer is fine.
- 20 minutes after raid start time, if we are unable to find enough players for the raid, the raid will be canceled for the night and everybody will be urged to run heroics instead. If 9 players are ready at 7:55, we have one person "no showing" and for some reason in 25 minutes we can't find that 10th due to everybody on the server being busy, the raid will be called and full blame will be put upon the person who said they would be there and didn't show up.
- We realize emergencies come up and those will be excused.
- Raid days and times are chosen to be of best use to the majority of the guild so that we may progress quickly.
- Current times are M-F 8-11PM. All times are server times.
- If a player has the Awesome Forces guild tag on their name and is found to be raiding current progression content without permission, they will be removed from the guild. If you cannot make one of our progression raids and would like to PUG you must request permission from an officer.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact any officer in-game.
